Indoor Running (Non-Treadmill)Utah Olympic OvalLocation: 5662 S. Cougar Ln. (4800 W.), Salt Lake City, Ut Just outside the "The Fastest Ice on Earth" sits what is hoped to become "The Fastest Indoor Track on Earth." This beautiful 442-meter Mondo Super X track circles the oval with four lanes of the best running surface under your feet possible. This is 42 meters bigger than the local high school outdoor track. The front straightaway features an eight-lane, 110-meter sprint zone. Regardless of the season, runners train in a climate-controlled environment, averaging 63-65 degrees year-round. Smith Field House - BYU Location: BYU Campus, Provo, Ut The Smith Field House has an oversized (5 laps to the mile) indoor track that is open to the public. The track is open from 5:30am to 1pm and again from 5pm to 10pm. Admission is free and open to anyone who wants to use it. Education Center - Weber State Univerisy Location: Weber State Univeristy Campus, Ogden, Ut In the Health and Phyical Education Center there is a 200 meter indoor track with a rubberized surface. This track is open to the public from 5:30am to 10:30pm Mon -Thurs., 5:30am to 8:00pm on Fri. and 8:00am to 5:00pm on Sat. Beginning November 7 the track will be open on Sundays from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. General admission is $5. There are different passes that may be purchased to help reduce cost.
