Getting Started:
Trail Running Basics

Trail Running Shoes
A good trail running shoe will allow you to run more comfortably, faster and with more control when running on rocky, uneven trails.  Trail running shoes typically are more rigid and have a little more support than road running shoes.

Hitting the Trails:
Trail Running Equipment Tips
The right clothing and socks help you conquer the trail while being comfortable.  It can also help prevent a lot of problems associated with trail running.

Hydration and Electrolytes
Prevent dehydration, muscle cramps, nausea and other common issues related to improper hydration and electrolyte depletion.  Find out how here.

Energy Gels and Sports Drinks
Don't Bonk.  Bonking is when the body runs out of much needed sugar energy and is forced to turn to other less efficient sources of energy. Sugar is the only thing the body can use for energy, so when it runs out it has to convert protein (muscle) into sugar

Other Nutrition Information
