Teaser Run #2
Thank you for your interest in the Salt Lake City Marathon “TEASER” Run series. Whether you are training specifically for the Salt Lake City Marathon or not we wish you success in both your training and racing plans. All runners are invited even if you are training for other marathons like Boston or Ogden, or if you would just like to come run.
Here are some things you need to know that are specific to the SLC Marathon Teaser runs:
All Teaser runs are Free to the public.
Starting Point is the big parking lot on north side of 5400 S @ 1070 W, aka Walden Park (Overflow parking lot on west side of River if needed)
Recommended start window is 6:30 to 7:00 am. There is no mass start. Adjust your starting time to fit your schedule.
There are no cups at aid stations on the course (NO LITTER POLICY!). You may bring your own water bottle or cup to carry with you.
General Teaser Info
“TEASER” runs are non-competitive aided group runs
Distances are designed for those training to finish the race
All courses are out and back
All runs are open to all abilities Runners are encouraged to make individual distance adjustments
There will be no sag wagons! Runners are responsible to get themselves back
Runs happen rain or shine
Runs will be aided with water, sports drink Drinks at aid stations will be self-serve (NO CUPS). Carry your own water bottle and gel. Dispose of any trash responsibly
Aid will remain on the course until 10:30 am for 16-18 miler, until 11:00am for 18-20 miler, and 11:30 am for 20-22 miler. Adjust your starting time accordingly
Carpools to the starting point are highly recommended
A SLRC staff member will be at the starting point to answer any questions
